NEW RELEASE - CHRISTMAS AT THE CONVENT

A Harriet Gordon Christmas novella, CHRISTMAS AT THE CONVENT is now out and available as an ebook from your favourite distributor and in print from Amazon. A wider print distribution and audio is on its way.

I loved writing this one — there's something irresistible about setting a genuinely dark mystery against the backdrop of Christmas carols and candlelight. In CHRISTMAS AT THE CONVENT, Harriet and Curran's first Christmas together gets upended when a newborn is discovered in the Convent's nativity scene — and what should be a joyous mystery quickly turns deadly.

I have to confess the idea has been kicking around in my head since a trip to Singapore some years ago and I even started jotting down some early thoughts while staying in the wonderful Eastern and Oriental Hotel in Penang... shades of Somerset Maugham lurking behind me. In the end it came together in a natural successor to the rest of the Harriet Gordon Mysteries (which really should be the Harriet and Curran mysteries now!).

A huge thank you to my ARC readers - you can find some early reviews on Goodreads. It is gratifying to know that the wait was worth it!
